Just homemade like Grandma out in nowhere. Ordered the chicken fried steak, 2 sides come with it along with choice of roll or cornbread.

Excellent food that took me back to the food I remember so fondly from my childhood. Everything was delicious and the folks were friendly and attentive. The desserts were some of the best I’ve ever eaten. Looking forward to our next visit!

My husband and I went to MJ’s Tin Box Cafe to try the food since they had gotten such high reviews. We were not disappointed. We shared chicken spaghetti, broccoli rice casserole, sweet carrots, jalapeño cornbread and a side salad because we knew we wanted to try their dessert. Speaking of dessert, chocolate Mayo cake, strawberry cake filled with dunkaroo(rainbow chip frosting), and strawberry heaven. Yes three desserts because we just couldn’t think about trying all 10 that they had. Go check them out. You will not be disappointed.

OMG! Can I say it was like going to my Grannies house for lunch? It was super delicious and plentiful. We ended up taking almost a whole plate home with us. Everything was homemade, and the coconut cream pie was outta this world. If you're in the area and want some REAL home style cooking then this would be for you.

Had the chicken stroganoff with mashed potatoes and white gravy. Food was very tasty very much enjoyed this place. Will be returning
